Overview
Beanie is a concept coffee shop designed as a place to pause, recharge, and enjoy small moments in the middle of everyday life. The brand aims to feel friendly, bold, and creative, encouraging people to step away from the daily grind and take a moment for themselves.
Challenge
The goal of the project was to develop a bold and recognizable identity for a coffee shop while maintaining a sense of warmth and approachability. The brand needed to feel modern and visually striking, yet still inviting enough to reflect the comfort and familiarity of coffee culture.
At the same time, the identity had to function as a flexible visual system that could work across different applications, including packaging, social media, and in-store materials. The challenge was finding the right balance between strong graphic elements, photography, and illustration without the system feeling overwhelming.
Solution
The visual identity was designed as a cohesive system capable of adapting across various brand touchpoints.
A custom script logotype gives the brand a unique voice, complemented by a modern sans-serif font that maintains clarity and consistency. A lively color palette combined with geometric patterns adds contrast and rhythm, producing recognizable visuals on packaging, social media, and in-store displays.
Editorial-style photography highlights everyday coffee rituals, while simple illustrations of coffee tools expand the visual system and introduce a playful element to the brand experience.
Collectively, these components form a versatile identity that keeps Beanie visually consistent while allowing seamless adaptation to different formats and settings.
